Possible Rogue Traders

A report has been sent in about a potential Rogue Trader operating in the area of Western Downs, Stafford yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 1st April). Two males in smart work clothing have approached a number of properties claiming they were in the area & noted loose ridge tiles to the home owner when knocking on. They have been polite but pushy about getting the work done, quoting very cheap prices initially of £20, but on closer inspection the prices started to rocket upward. Our informant believes the males actually removed ridge tiles that were already secure in place. 

The van had foreign plates, silver Renault traffic with yellow stripe. It had some basic signwriting on “borderlineroofingandguttering.co.uk” and some mobile numbers which when researched are not legitimate.
